With Thanksgiving and Christmas fast approaching, it is now "prime time" for the buying and giving of greeting cards. I think it is wonderful that you have provided a way for people to create more personalized gifts, save money and help the environment in one blog!

It's my opinion that recycling and eating organically go hand in hand. Both go a long way toward improving the health of both ourselves and our environment. I applaud you for spreading the recycling mantra.

I LOVE it that it seems so many people are into recycling cards. And THANK YOU for these added ideas! I have collected all cards since I can remember, at the moment I have 3 shoe boxes full. To begin with I collected cards for sentimental reasons, it is quite a trip down memory lane when you go back to your 7th, 8th, 9th birthday etc, read through the cards an remember who your good friends were that are long forgotten. My Great Aunt Fran is the one who got it into my head that it is an even better idea to recycle these cards which can be done in the simplest form. If a card has only been written on the non picture side, but the card in half and write at the back of the picture.
Decoupage is my next favorite hobby especially when decorating a box that I will then give as a gift.
There are so many ways to recycle out there and it is so refreshing to see how many people enjoy it as much as I now do!

In all seriousness, do you really need more stuff? more chocolate? more flowers? Why not save our beautiuful Earth, be good to our trees and flowers, consume less, recycle more, and enjoy each others' company this (and every) Valentine's Day?

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, it think it's very timely that I have found your blog. I will definitely be sending and receiving my share of greeting cards, so I will be sure that I recycle those that I do not keep.
